Mustang (Tibet) – Journey of Transformation

Mustang is one of the few places in Tibet that has been able to retain its traditional culture. Journey of Transformation tells the remarkable story of a 15th century Tibetan culture pulled back from extinction through restoration of one of its most sacred sites. Featuring His Holiness the Dalai Lama the film is a tale of hope and rebirth told by the people who helped save this once Forbidden Kingdom. Narrated by Richard Gere. Directed and presented at the library by Will Parrinello of the Mill Valley Film Group.

 Will will also screen more excerpts from the Global Focus – The New Environmentalists series of short films made about winners of the Goldman Environmental Prize.
