Global Lens 2010

This touring series of recent narrative feature films from Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East has been organized by the Global Film Initiative, a non-profit, San Francisco-based organization founded to promote cross-cultural understanding through cinema and to support the growth of global film communities through its granting, distribution and education activities.

Inaugurated at the Mill Valley Film Festival with screenings of Adrift and Becloud, this year's edition consists of eleven films: ten new ones, complemented by the revival of an acclaimed title from past series, all presented in original languages with English subtitles. These films highlight artistic voices from countries rarely represented on American screens. Visit www.globalfilm.org for more information on the films and to explore the Global Film Initiative's range of activities.

GLOBAL LENS PASSPORTS Good for any six admissions to Global Lens films at the Rafael: $36 (CFI members $24)
