First Friday - Naked Truth: real. stories. live.

Join the Mill Valley Public Library for another installment of our popular true storytelling series "Naked Truth: real.stories.live." The Library's Main Reading Room will be transformed into a venue for seasoned raconteurs and storytelling novices to showcase the human experience. Each guest will tell a ten-minute true story based on the evening's theme: Stranger in a Strange Land. Sit back and listen while real people tell real-life stories, raw and without notes. Once again, we have an amazing line-up of guests. The evening will also include a speed round of five one-minute stories from the audience.

Storytellers will include Don Novello, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live and for his character "Father Guido Sarducci;" Mary Thorsby, a writer who left the audience wanting more during our one-minute lightening round at the last Naked Truth event; photographer and travel writer David Robinson; and Dean Rader and Judy Halebsky, poets who hit homeruns with our Poetry World Series audience.

This event is free and open to adults and high school students. Space is limited so registration is recommended. To register, sign up online or call (415) 389-4292 x203.
