Clarence Clemons and The Temple of Soul West

Clarence Clemons, an American musician, is best known as the saxophone player in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. "The Big Man" has been playing with Bruce for over 30 years. Clarence's saxophone is the focal point of the E Street sound and brings a quality to Springsteen's music that resonates with the audience and elevates the concerts to a rock'n'roll extravaganza. Clarence's solos are typically the pinnacle of Springsteen's songs and are famous for rocking the house or touching the heart with the most famous being his long elegiac solo in the song "Jungleland" In addition to his expansive career with Springsteen, Clarence has worked with many other artists from Ringo Starr to Ricky Skaggs. Clarence is also a composer and has developed numerous solo albums, each with a distinctive style. Clarence's album "Hero" includes a well-known hit single, a vocal duet with Jackson Browne on "You're a Friend of Mine." His saxophone work on Aretha Franklin's hit single "Freeway of Love" is one of many highlights in his career.

Jimmy Dillon on guitar and vocals, leads the band through some classic rockers, so put your dancin' shoes on! Jimmy and Clarence are long time friends and collaborators and co-wrote many of the songs you'll be hearing. On the keyboards and vocals-the mighty Austin De Lone who is also a veteran of the Big Man's band, having done several tours as well as the legendary Sweetwater shows that brought Clarence's soulful sax magic to Mill Valley over the years. On bass, another seasoned veteran of Mr. C's band, the rock steady Eric McCann and on drums, the heartbeat of the band Paul Revelli.
