Asheba - Calypso Singer and Storyteller

The Mill Valley Public Library invites you to come enjoy the soothing summer sounds of the islands without ever leaving town. On July 14th the library hosts Asheba, a well-known Calypso singer and storyteller. You're welcome to dance, sing, or just mellow out to the cool vibes and rhythmic sounds of this Bay Area treasure. Asheba specializes in vibrant songs from the musical and storytelling traditions of Trinidad. You'll feel like you're lounging on the beach in the Caribbean – right here in Mill Valley! All ages are welcome to attend this program and no advanced sign-up is required.
