Film fans needing to catch up on the Academy Award-nominated movies before Oscar Sunday are in luck—several of the Best Picture nominees are still playing throughout Marin.
A number of local theaters are hosting Oscar Night parties, including the Lark Theatre in Larkspur and the Smith Rafael Film Center in downtown San Rafael.
There are nine films contending for the Academy's top honor at the 85th Oscars, including four that screened at the 35th Mill Valley Film Festival.
