You Won't Strike Out with Timmy Lincecum!

Timmy is a total love. This one-year-old Rat Terrier is looking for a forever home.

Timmy Lincecum
Rat Terrier

Timmy is a total love and will value his new family forever. He is a very athletic dog (jumps high as the sky) and would be a perfect candidate for agility or other dog sports.

Timmy will do best in a fairly quiet environment as he learns to be a little braver around new stuff, like noises, movements, new people. This is why we recommend more mature children over 10 or so, who can follow instructions and help him learn. Once Timmy warms up, he is a bit of a young scamp, jumping up and down with eyes full of fun.

Timmy would benefit greatly from attending classes, as it helps everyone to bond and learn to communicate with each other.

I can't speak to this dog specifically because I've never actually met him but I would like to point that, in general, pets are wonderful and can really add so much to your life. But of course they are not toys so if you are thinking of getting this or any other dog as a holiday gift for that special person in your life, be sure that he or she - whether child or adult - wants the dog after the holiday season is over. If you are not sure if you are ready for a dog, I would suggest starting with a goldfish or a hamster to test the waters and be sure you are really ready for a pet. It's a big time commitment, but oh so worth it.
