Pink Floyd Tribute Band, Pixar Shorts, Personal Creativity and More this Weekend

Here's a look at just some the fun activities happening in Mill Valley this weekend.

  1. Yoga Fusion: What if there was a class that combined running, stretching and relaxing? Look no further. Friday at 11:15 a.m. at the Mill Valley Community Center.
  2. Pixar Shorts: Looking to stay busy during spring break? The Mill Valley Public Library is playing 12 short Disney and Pixar films, featuring multiple Academy Award nominees on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Popcorn and pillow provided.
  3. House of Floyd at Sweetwater: Check out San Francisco’s Pink Floyd tribute band. Rather than simply replicating the iconic band’s recorded songs, these guys deliver serious musical magic with surround sound, atmospheric lighting, lasers, fog, and more.
  4. The Whipping Man at Marin Theatre Company: Days after the South surrendered to the Union, two emancipated slaves find themselves caring for their former owner’s son, a Confederate captain who was seriously wounded during the final battle of the Civil War. Playing Saturday at 9 p.m.
  5. Personal Creativity Workshop: Foster your creativity with Cayen Robertson at this weekly workshop Saturday at 10 a.m. at the O'Hanlon Center for the Arts. Use collage, acrylic paint, sumi ink, rubbing wax and more to help discover your personal visual language.
