PHOTO GALLERY: SweetE Hosts KIDDO Artists, Allergy Safe Halloween Treats, and a Candy Swap

SweetE Organic Treats is currently showcasing Halloween themed art by local kids, selected by the KIDDO board. Stop by for allergy safe treats, and check out an artist reception, trick-or-treating, and a candy swap all coming up. Check here for dates

SweetE all natural treat shop is more than just your average candy store, it's candy with a cause. Owner Elana Turchon is dedicated to providing allergy, diet, and environmental conscious confections right here in Mill Valley.

Located in Strawberry Village, 800 Redwood Highway, Suite 612, you can count on SweetE to provide you with a large selection of halloween goodies to suite your goblins individual needs.

"All children deserve to experience trick-or-treating," explained Turchon, "That's why I decided host a candy swap the week after halloween."

Families are invited to bring excess Halloween candy to SweetE's collection bin in
exchange for organic, non GMO, allergy-conscious candy without artificial dyes. SweetE will start you off with a few pieces of candy and you can augment those treats with a purchase of your family’s favorites.

SweetE will then donate all collected Halloween candy, along with a variety of organic candies to balance, to the Ritter Center in San Rafael.

But don't wait until after Halloween to stop by.

From now until Halloween, SweetE is home to 25 young-artist's paintings and drawings, hand-selected by the KIDDO board, to be displayed. Turchon will be hosting an artist's reception Tues., Oct. 22, to honor those chosen.

And don't forget Halloween trick-or-treating at Strawberry Village Saturday, Oct. 26 from 4-6 p.m. Kids can treat for free at all participating stores, and you can check out the pet costume contest and parade to benefit the Milo Foundation at 5 p.m.
