The project involves replacement or repair of bridges, retaining walls, steps, and stone crossings, as well as general trail maintenance. The work will result in a safer trail with improved watershed hydrology.

The project will be managed and supervised by California State Parks and performed by crews from the California Conservation Corps and the Sonoma County Probation Camp’s Supervised Adult Crew Program. All work will be done by hand and completed using trail construction and maintenance techniques employed in inaccessible back-country locations.
