Mill Valley Road Closures This Week

The following is a notice from the city of Mill Valley:

ROAD CLOSURES:

Marsh Drive
Monday, October 15 - Friday, October 26; 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.:  Marsh Drive will be closed while contractors for the City continue their work of installing a new storm drain.  Please note that the road will be open between noon and 1:00 p.m.

178 Marion Avenue
Wednesday, October 17 and Thursday, October 18, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.: The road will be closed at 178 Marion Avenue for sewer lateral work.  

10 Eldridge Ave
Wednesday October 17 and Thursday, October 18; 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Eldridge will be closed to through traffic between E. Blithedale and Corte Madera Avenue while DPW crews repair the roadway surface.  Provisions will be made for resident and emergency vehicle access.

PARKING LOT ENTRANCE CLOSURE:

Commuter Parking Lot - 411 Miller Avenue
Wednesday, October 17 and Thursday, October 18; 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: The entrance to the commuter parking lot will be closed while DPW crews make surface repairs.  Please use alternate entrance.  The parking lot will still be available for use.

LANE CLOSURES:

Edgewood Avenue
Monday, October 15 - Friday, October 19; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Edgewood Avenue will be down to one lane with 2-way traffic between Molino Avenue and Marion Avenue while construction crews working for the City start the Edgewood Avenue Resurfacing Project.  Please watch for signage & follow the directions from flaggers to move safely through this area.

Camino Alto, Azalea, Overhill
Monday, October 15; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Watch for a moving lane closure and expect traffic delays while contractors working for the City paint street markings.  Please look for signage and follow directions of flaggers.

100 block of Miller Avenue
Wednesday, October 17; 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The outbound lane of Miller Avenue will be closed while DPW crews do asphalt repair.  Expect minor traffic delays and plan accordingly.  Please watch for signage and cones marking lane changes.

TRAFFIC DELAYS:

Elaine Avenue
Monday, October 15 - Friday, October 26; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Expect traffic delays on Elaine Avenue as contractors working on the Street Rehabilitation Project do improvements on the curbs & gutters.  Please watch for signage & follow directions of flagmen. 

LANE SHIFT:

50 Catalpa Ave
Monday October 15 - Friday, October 19; 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Expect a lane shift at 50 Catalpa Avenue as contractors work to replace a private sewer lateral.  Please watch for cones marking lane changes.
