Mill Valley Residents Share Their Experience With Adding Solar Panels to Their Roof

The Outdoor Art Club will host a solar panel presentation on Nov. 21, with a question and answer to help you choose if solar energy is right for you.

Are you interested in adding solar panels to your rooftop? If so, mark your calendars for next week, as local homeowners tell you about their experience using this green energy.

The Outdoor Art Club will host a panel presentation on Nov. 21  1-2 p.m., at One West Blithedale Avenue, Mill Valley

You and your neighbors are invited this free event, as three Mill Valley residents who have installed rooftop solar panels on their homes present their experience.

Tamalpais Park residents Judd Williams, Mike Mooney, and Outdoor Art Club member Nan Paget will discuss their experiences with solar panels from the homeowner’s perspective, including possible issues with installation, cost vs. payback, and the reduction in carbon footprint.  Learn about the history of this expanding energy resource. and why these homeowners are looking to the future by using solar power in their own homes.    

The panel presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, when the homeowners will take questions from the audience.
