A Marin farmstand that focuses on organic fresh fruits and vegetables, local eggs and honey is expanding its line of house-made pickles, preserves, jam, marmalade, and salsa — and the owners are looking for community support to make it happen.
Ceceilia's Gardens farmstand, at 204 Tennessee Valley Rd. in Mill Valley, launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign earlier this month with a goal of raising $10,000. Nearing them mid-point of the campaign, Ceceilia's Gardens owners Josh Rickett and Marika Bourdeaux are about halfway to their goal.
Much of the money would go to completing the organic certification project and printing new labels to tout the accomplishment. Other funds would be dedicated to kitchen equipment, permits, a new website and fulfilling Kickstarter gifts to sponsors.
