How do you love a kitten named Maria? With gentle, calm attention in a quiet home. This beautiful seven-month-old kitten comes to us from a situation where there were many, many cats in the home; and while she certainly learned all about living with other felines, sweet, shy Maria wasn't exposed to much else. Like Maria in "The Sound of Music," this pretty black and white maid will vocalize when she's anxious and worried, but she will also purr herself to sleep when she's being cuddled and combed by a loving human.
A shy kitten like Maria will do best in an indoor home with an experienced guardian who understands that patience and plenty of TLC will be needed to help a "scaredy kitten" become comfortable in her new surroundings. In time, Maria will feel secure in your home and become a devoted and affectionate companion.
