Get Your Farmer's Market Produce Online, Delivered Weekly in Mill Valley

There's a new way to get your farmer's market produce in Mill Valley, online from Farmigo, the farmer's co-op.

Nothing beats locally grown produce, and there is no shortage of farmer's market options in Mill Valley. However, a new company in town wants to make it even easier for you to get.

Local business woman, Ellery Fink, enjoys the fresh farmer's market produce, but doesn't always have time to get out and rummage through the great deals. She found a company called Farmigo, that allows you to shop online and pick up once a week without the effort, and is volunteering to bring it to you.

"Farmigo is a farmer's food community that allows you to go online, pick what you want to purchase each week with no minimum, and pick it up at one central location all bagged up and ready to go," Fink told Patch, "It's a way of congregating local farm organic produce all online."

She explained that if you shop by Sunday at midnight, your purchase is ready for pick up on Tuesdays between 4-7 p.m. With the options of automatic renewal, and a farmer's choice box filled with an array of in-season fruits, vegetables and herbs you might otherwise over look in the grocery isle, she assures there is something for everyone.

"I wanted to get involved and connect to the food community," Fink said, "We really have a great local organic food movement here, and this is an opportunity to have good access to great products in our community."

Fink has arranged to be a liaison with the Farmigo company, and personally picks up the orders -bringing them for pick up at Adventures Cross Country,  242 Redwood Hwy, right next to The Planet Kid Headquarters.

Co-op growers include farms from Monterey, Santa Cruz, Vacaville, and more.
