Second Annual Summer Johnnie Baker, Sr. Father's Day Invitational Wood Bat Baseball Tournament

FREE baseball tournament!  This coming Father’s day weekend, from June 15th-19th, the First Base Foundation will be hosting a highly competitive 19 and under, wood-bat tournament to honor Johnnie Baker, father of Cincinnati Reds Manager Dusty Baker. FBF is a grassroots organization devoted to supporting student athletes both on and off the baseball field.

This event will showcase the skills of a large group of talented, young athletes from around the Bay Area as well as 11 other teams from the greater Western US.  With scouts present at many of the games, this Father’s Day Tournament will provide an important opportunity for players to be seen and get recognized.

The tournament will take place in five different field locations: Marin Catholic, Kentfield; Redwood High School, Corte Madera; Drake High School, San Anselmo; Campolindo High School, Orinda; and College of Marin, Kentfield.  There’s no better way to celebrate Father’s Day than by taking the family to see a FREE tournament featuring the highest level of competitive baseball in the Bay Area.  For more info, go to http://firstbasefoundation.org/fathers-day-tournament/.
