Buddhist Temple of Marin 45th Annual Summer Festival and Bazaar

The Buddhist Temple of Marin presents its 45th Annual Summer Festival and Bazaar on Sunday, June 26, from 12noon-6pm.  The indoor-outdoor event features delicious teriyaki chicken bento boxes and dinners, cultural demonstrations and performances, games and a silent auction.  The temple is located at 390 Miller Avenue in Mill Valley, one block north of Whole Foods.  Admission is free to the public.

This year’s program is highlighted by an exciting performance by Sonoma County Taiko of Santa Rosa.  Sonoma County Taiko performs throughout the Bay Area, and conducts taiko (traditional Japanese drumming) classes for adults and children.  It also runs a taiko and Japanese culture camp for kids during the summer.
