19th Annual Master Mariners Wooden Boat Show

Held at the beautiful Corinthian Yacht Club each year, traditional yacht owners take pride in inviting the public to view their beautiful, historic sailing yachts of a bygone era that still sail San Francisco Bay.  This is one of the few boat shows where the skippers invite all to come aboard to learn the history of their boat.  The gate fee is $10, children under 12 with an adult are free, and there is model boat building for the kids.  All proceeds of the show go to the Master Mariners Foundation which supports the preservation of classic sailing vessels, provides grants to youth groups that include sail training, Tall Ship Eucation cruises, skills that are associated with building, restoring and maintaining traditional yachts, such as these that are on display at the Wooden boat Show.  Music from the San Francisco Feetwarmers Jazz Band, food from the Corinthian Outdoor Bar & Grill, and the warm summer sun make this a great day by San Francisco Bay.
