Mill Valley Patch: Are you native to Mill Valley?
Jeannine Englander: I was born in Telluride Colorado and moved to Mill Valley with my family when I was 5. I went to and have lived here since then.
MVP: What do you like to do for fun?
JE: I hike and ride my bike on Mt. Tam, or just do some general mountain exploration. I also like people watching at the .
MVP: What are you reading?
JE: Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. It's pretty thick.

MVP: What's in your iPod?
JE: Old stuff. Bands like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and The Kinks. I have some newer stuff too like Joanna Newsom.
MVP: How would you describe your personal style?
JE: I would say that 98 percent of my clothes are from thrift stores. Usually I sacrifice function and just wear whatever I want for whatever I'm doing. Basically, I dress like a toddler. My sweater is from the "tween" section of the .

JE: I'm taking a gap year to do WOOF (World Wide Oppotunities on Organic Farms). I'm going to Denmark, Portugal and New Zealand. Then I'll be going to school in North Carolina in fall 2013.
