City of MV Highlights Ways to Celebrate Earth Day, Earth Awareness Month in Town

The City is celebrating Earth Awareness for the month of April.

The following is a news release from the city of Mill Valley: 

Sustainability initiatives are among City Council's priorities for the year as part of its mission to preserve a high quality of life for its residents, businesses and visitors. 

The City Council and the Mill Valley community have a longstanding commitment to the environment, and are continually finding ways to promote and implement healthy and sustainable practices.

  • Eco Climate Creature Workshop (Wednesday, April 23rd 2:30-4pm, 2nd Grade and up, Mill Valley Public Library, advanced registration required)  
  • Beautification Day (Saturday, April 26th 9-12pm, Mill Valley Community Center)
  • The Invisible Peak (Sunday, April 27th 4pm, Community Church of Mill Valley, sponsored by the StreamKeepers & Earth Stewardship Group)
  • Basic Backyard Compositng (Tuesday, April 29th 6:30-7:30pm, Mill Valley Community Center)
