Michelle and Isaac Gredinberg go back and forth as to who chased who, and the details of their first encounter are still debatable but they can both agree that they met on a trip to The Edge in Palo Alto.
"We were on Page Mill and I pulled my Cabriolet over and Isaac his motorcycle and we talked," she says. "We were friends for two years. He was my best friend and then all of a sudden one day, there was a spark."
Now, nearly 17 years later the couple is happily married with two kids.
The photo of the two that won them the title of Cutest Couple and our readers' hearts was during a photo shoot with a friend, documenting a day in the life of these two, Michelle says.
The two were riding ahead and the photographer, along with their then 8-year-old son Moose followed behind them with the camera gear.
"We were at the light and we turned to do a fist bump like we always do and our son grabbed the camera and took the shot," Isaac says. "It wasn't planned."
"We are a very non-traditional family," she says.
Along with riding motorcycles, the family of four ride dirt bikes and wake boards.
The two offer this advice to couples everywhere:
"Make time for each other and have a common interest to do together," Michelle says.
"It's always work and you can’t ever give up on your work. You can’t get comfortable," Isaac says.
The two have lived in Campbell for more than a decade after opting the Orchard City over Los Gatos and formed a motorcycle club about two years ago that meet in Campbell once a week.
"The bikes are what have really kept us together," Michelle says.
