Alpha Dog Hosts Santa Tails

Annual fundraiser to benefit Marin Humane Society lets pet have their photo taken with Santa.

hosted its 4th annual Santa Tails fundraiser Saturday, allowing pets (and their people) to have a professional photo taken with Santa at Depot Plaza. Despite a dreary day, plenty of pets hopped on Santa's lap for a photo by Mill Valley photographer Allison Levenson.

Each photo drew a $20 donation to the Marin Humane Society. Santa Tails has been visited over the years by all kinds of pets, from puppies and llamas to an occasional exotic parrot, but dogs were the primary attendees Saturday.
