Taking It to the Streets!

Tired of having the northern entrances to beautiful Mill Valley spoiled by litter and weeds, four ladies mounted their own clean-up effort.  Peggy Katcher, Margo Kirkpatrick, Joan Murray and Jill Young collected 24 big orange bags of litter along with stacks of weeds and two abandoned shopping carts from East Blithedale near the freeway, Redwood Highway Frontage Road and Hamilton Avenue. They got the job done on Friday before the next round of rain. Robert Zadnik of Mill Valley Public Works provided the bags and arranged for the disposal of the trash.

Anyone interested in joining in on the next clean-up should contact Margo Kirkpatrick at margomv@comcast.net.
