Steven Howard Rodriguez

Steven Howard Rodriguez (19) passed peacefully on Thursday October 17, 2013 at UCSF Children’s Hospital, after a 5 month courageous battle with a very rare form of brain cancer called AT/RT (Atypical Teratoid/Rabdoid Tumor).

He is survived by his parents, Rafael and Alex Rodriguez , brothers Michael (22) and Matthew (12) . Grandparents Acasia Rodriguez , Jean Hammerman , Howard And Delores Johnson , Aunts Acacia Rodriguez, Tracy Morse , Mariah Harvey, Uncles Chris Johnson, Robert Morse, Cousins : Aja, Chris, Austin Schorr , Robert Rankin, Syna Morse, David Rankin, Alix, Andrew and Brandon Morse.

Born April 27, 1994, Steven, a native of Tam Valley,  attended Tam Valley Elementary, Mill Valley Middle School, and graduated from Tamalpais High School in 2012. He was attending Santa Monica College majoring in Theater.

Service will be held at Fernwood Cemetary in Tam Valley on Sunday November 3 at 1pm, followed by community potluck reception at Tamalpais Community Center.
