Call for Entries: "Symbols" show at O'Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley

Exhibition Dates: September 3 through 26, 2013

Artists Roundtable Discussion:
  Tuesday, September 3, 4 to 6 p.m.

Reception:
Tuesday, September 3, 6 to 8 p.m.

Juror: 
Gregory Wiley Edwards, Painter, Lithograph, and Pen and Ink Artist, Commissioner Emeritus for the Cultural Affairs Commission of the City of Oakland.

Entry Fee:
$30 for OHCA members, $35 for non-members, for up to three pieces. 
  • Become a new OHCA member at the time of delivery and get your entry fee waived!  Call or visit www.ohanloncenter.org for more details. 

 

Submitted work should include any type of meaningful symbols, emblems, designs, or crests that are internationally known or personally significant, ancient or modern, and that are integral to the design of the art piece.  Sources of symbols may include but are not limited to animism, astrology, cartography, mathematics, mysticism, nautical codes, psychology, paganism, spirituality, tarot, veves, etc. Abstract and expressionistic works encouraged.  Please do not submit works that have previously been displayed at the O’Hanlon Center Gallery.
