This In Conversation event and book offers a chance to learn from the legends about Pt Reyes, known as the park that changed all parks in America. Join renowned conservationist and former director of the Trust for Public Land Martin Rosen and author John Hart, An Island in Time: 50 Years of Pt Reyes National Seashore for a rare Conversation about how Pt Reyes was formed and the lessons learned. The public is invited to ask questions.
This book tells the tale of the land and the creation of the Seashore as part of the National Park system, including beautiful photographs by local artists. This book is a first limited edition, published by Mill Valley's Pickleweed Press and Phyllis Faber, a former Coastal Commission member and MALT founder.
