Viewfinder: Summer Camps and Construction
Summer is here and kids are at camps all over town. There's also plenty of construction, as crews are in the midst of overhauling Old Mill and Tam Valley elementary schools.
School is out and everywhere you look in Mill Valley you see youngsters at camp. Our Viewfinder captured kids learning to play tennis at the Tennis Camp at , playing basketball with the Mill Valley Parks and Recreation Department at and participating in a whole host of activities at Camp Kaleidoscope at the .
Elsewhere in town, construction crews are working away on modernization projects at two campuses, and , and the Marin Municipal Water District is replacing miles of old water pipes throughout Mill Valley.
