Green Toys Unveils New Products

Local maker of eco-friendly toys and tableware hits American International Toy Fair in New York to show off new lines.

Green Toys Inc., the Miller Ave. company that makes children’s toys made of recycled plastic, launched several new products this week at the American International Toy Fair in New York, from a variety of mini-cars to a salad set and a elaborate toy set for would-be florists.

Green Toys unveiled a pint-sized line of Mini Fastbacks and Mini Vehicles, the latter of which includes an ambulance, police car, fastback and taxi. The company’s 20-piece Salad Set features a number of utensils and tableware, along with a variety of salad “vegetables.”

"With the mini-vehicles, we now offer our classic eco-cars at an impulse price point in addition to complete sets, and our Salad Set encourages healthy eating while kids play with our food-safe play food," Green Toys co-founder Laurie Hyman said in a statement.
