A large dump truck collided with a bicyclist Thursday afternoon at Sycamore Ave. and Camino Alto, badly injuring the bicyclist, a 26-year-old Mill Valley woman, police said.

The crash occurred at around 5 p.m. Thursday as the truck and bicyclist were on Sycamore, according to Mill Valley Police Lt. Jacqueline Graf-Reis. A large dump truck from Maggiora & Ghilotti attempted to turn right at Camino Alto, but it is unclear at this time whether the bicyclist was also turning right or heading straight, Graf-Reis said. The bicyclist, Madeline Rose, is listed in stable condition in the intensive care unit at Marin General Hospital. Rose sustained multiple broken bones and lacerations.
